Help create, coordinate and implement the annual Carnival to work toward greater financial security for the parish.

An appointed council advises the pastor on financial matters affecting the parish. As an integral part of the church, this council is concerned with the planning, reviewing and monitoring of budgets, fund raising, and proper maintenance and upkeep of the church property.

This group is a Seniors' Social Club whose members participate in trips, bingo, and other activities. They meet the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at 1 p.m. in the cafeteria of Conlon Hall from September through June.

St. John's Council #1345 is a religious, fraternal,and charitable organization with programs supporting the Church, family, youth and community. It is the fourth largest in the state of New Jersey. For information call 201-387-9750

Rosarians are dedicated to the Blessed Mother and pledge to follow her example of service. This group meets the first Monday of each month in Conlon Hall.

Scouting is a program which provides a child and his/her family with the opportunity to discover and grow mentally, physically, and spiritually.

The Tiger Scouts, Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts, and Venture Scouts of Troop 139 participate in a variety of activities, including camping trips and service projects.

Trustees are designated members of the parish as a legal entity.

This group of volunteers provides services for improving all of our parish buildings, such as: patching holes in walls and ceilings, painting, decorating, etc. These services satisfy the time and talent portion of our Stewardship program.

Giving our children a moral and religious background is of utmost importance to us. All children in our parish family, Grades Pre K to Grade 8, are encouraged to attend our Religious Education Program. Students from grades 9 through 12 are encouraged to participate in St. John's Youth Group

St. John's Youth Group

Youth Ministers share the faith with teenagers in the Youth Group who desire to know their Catholic faith more fully. They meet on Sunday and Tuesday evenings. Events include discussion nights, weekend retreats, trips and other social gatherings as well as the Living Stations on Good Friday. Membership is open to High School students in Grades 9 through 12. Members of the Youth group meet in the Youth Room, lower Church.
