Saturday, December 8th is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, a holyday of obligation.  Masses to fulfill the obligation with be offered on Friday, December 7th at 7:30pm in the main church in English and the lower church in Spanish.  On Saturday, the Masses for the holyday will be at 7am, 9am, and 12noon.

Eucharistic Holy Hour will begin at 8:30pm on Friday, December 7th.  Overnight adoration in the Parish Life Center Chapel will follow until 6:45am.  On Saturday, December 8th from 9pm until Sunday, December 9th at 1am, the Annual National Night of Prayer for Life will be observed in the same chapel with the Eucharist exposed.  Rosary will be said publicly each hour at the quarter hour.

Eucharistic Adoration is now offered every Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30am to 6:30pm in the Adoration Chapel behind the tabernacle.  Enter via the ramp side door. 

Boy Scout Troop 139 is selling Christmas wreaths and grave blankets in the parking lot after weekend Masses.  Please support them.

A bilingual prayer and faith-sharing group for Young Adults, called The Ark, meets Tuesdays from 7:30pm to 10pm in the Transfiguration Room on the 3rd floor of the parish life center.

Designated members of our parish are bringing the Good News of God's Love to our community by visiting homes in various sections of our parish from time to time.  They are registered with the Bergenfield Police.  Please welcome them when they come to your door.

Adults seeking entrance into the Catholic Church from other denominations or no denomination, as well as adult Catholics who have not received First Penance, First Communion, or Confirmation, are invited to contact Deacon Jim or Fr. Jonathan about the process known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.  The formation program is held on Sunday mornings throughout the year in English and in Spanish.  Inquiries are always welcome.  The unbaptized may enter the two-year cycle at any time.  The already baptized must begin between October and November for sacraments the following Spring.

Our parish provides support groups for moms and for dads of children with disabilities, and celebrates an Inclusive Family Mass on the first Sunday of each month - October through June - at 1:30pm.  Our Religious Education program also provides religious instruction and sacramental preparation for children with disabilities on Tuesday evenings.  The Moms meet monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and the dads monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, both at 7:30pm in the Parish Life Center, between September and June.  Contact Deacon Jim at the rectory or Rosemarie Flood at the Religious Education Office for more information.

Our Memorial Brick Campaign for the Grotto behind the Parish Life Center continues.  Come and see it.  Forms for reserving a Memorial Brick may be found in the rectory.

TRANSFIGURATION ACADEMY is our outstanding academic and spiritual institution for learning.
